Grupo de Estudo e Pesquisa em Neuro-Psicanálise do Rio de Janeiro
In November 2004, we created the Neuropsychoanalysis Study and Research Group of Rio de Janeiro: GENPSA-Rio (Grupo de Estudo e Pesquisa em Neuro-Psicanálise do Rio de Janeiro, in Portuguese).
We now have 49 members. Four of us are members of International Neuropsychoanalysis Society: Altamirando Matos de Andrade Junior, Elie Cheniaux Jr., Regina Maria Constantino Chagas Lessa, and Victor Manoel Andrade.
The group functions basically through Internet, but smaller discussion and research groups are already being formed.
Our major objectives are: divulging knowledge of neuropsychoanalysis, writing scientific articles, promoting scientific meetings, carrying out empirical research and encouraging the elaboration of graduation monographs of and dissertations and post-graduation theses of within this field.
